I fail to understand why so many individuals feel as if their opinions are the only ones worth listening to. Some people either shove their opinions down your throat or call you a racist simply for disagreeing with them. It certainly seem as if a great deal of people these days react this way when speaking to anyone who has an opposing view. Last I checked however, this is still America. In America, everyone is entitled to voice their own personal opinions, EVERYONE. 

Everyone should be able to voice their personal feelings and beliefs, without having to fear some type of retaliation or punishment. If you’re allowed to kneel without condemnation, then you should also be allowed to stand without receiving condemnation. Not just Democrats, not just Liberals, and not just Leftists. Not just Republicans, not just Conservatives, and not just the Right. 


It’s also important to remember that individuals can disagree with one another and still remain friends. Only someone truly immature would willingly choose to end their friendship with another person simply because they have opposing opinions, political views, or beliefs. It’s time to get back to being one nation, one people. Leave the past behind and work towards a future that benefits all Americans. 


And for the record, yes I do have friends and family members that are Democrats, as well as friends and family members that are Republicans. And yes, I do listen to, respect, and love them all, no matter what their political views may be.
